If you could put a Q together using only the parts out of Older to present Q's, What would you do?

I would keep my 99. Stuff the motor out of a 90-93 into it and add active suspension. Add the navigation out of a present Q. That would be a dream car.

I'd keep my '95, add the 4.1 from the 200mph landspeed Q, add Active suspension, and the nav / interior from a new Q.

Impossible, but cool to consider.

Interesting thought...

Id keep the VH45DE, put in a F50 transmission, F50 interior and nav, F50 headlights in the G50 housings with clear lights (does that count?)... Definitely want HICAS and the active suspension (with the ASE664 controller)... Hmm, i suppose then we'd have to have the F50 wheels, F50 brakes... Oooh oooh better have the rear sunshade and rear reclining seats from the F50...

So basically what we're putting together is an F50 in a G50 body with G50 suspension...

all that in a 94 body and we have a winner.....

I would install dual turbo chargers (4.1L) and intercooler (HD oil cooling with auxilary fans , HD cooling system with dual pull/push fans) put a 6 speed manual transmission, a rear diff from TT300ZX(beefier that stock) and be a real sleeper Also I would put larger sway bars, stiffer springs (maybe lowered 1 inch) wide a$$ tires. See ya at a traffic light

You could do like what one northstar guy did... Put one in the front and one in the back... He did that with a caddy eldorado..... Pretty cool to be surrounded (literally) by V8s...

Thnaks once again Wes. I did a search for ASE664 and found nothing, but when I did a search for greenQ45a, like you suggested, I found the thread you are referring to .

I still don't understand how the search engine works in this forum. I just wish this forum were Powered by: vBulletin Version 3.0.8 which is much easier to use and has more options.

zerothread?id=105819

That shows how to search...

Im not going to go into detail, but the capability of zeroforums blows away Vbulletin....

Since I think the Y33 body is the sleekest and sexiest, I'd use that for the base. And no way in hell would I put the older 278hp VH45, I'd install the F50's 360hp VK and transmission, the F50's Navi, the 99-01 Y33's rear window sun shade, the 99-01 HID's, the F50's upgrade wheels, an active suspension (only so I could install an aftermarket super low down height controller), and um, I think that would be it.

Of course, then I'd take half that stuff off and replace it with aftermarket

edit: I would also add the rear seat back from a 99-01 w/ movable headrest and the JDM Cima rear armrest with stereo and climate controls.

After reading your post, I feel lucky to have a 99. My 8 month old son really likes my sunshade to keep the sun out of his eyes. My HID's work great at night, better in the rain, and give the car a great look coming down the road at night.

How does the rear sunshade keep sun out of his eyes? Do child seats go backwards or something? I have dark a$$ tint, plus I have curtains on the doors so it's real dark in the back, but that rear sunshade would make it even that much darker!

Yea, untill they are a year old, the seats are supposed to face backwards.

it's also nice when a truck at night is trying to stay on your A$$ beacuse they think they are king of the road. Just hit the button and let them know that it just doesnt bother you. I think it really iritates them.

Could you take the deck lid out of a 99 and add this to yours falk?

Truck staying on my a$$?? NEVARRRR!! I'm not sure how much work would be involved in installing the rear decklid from 99+.

My most likely scenario is to get the matching curtains for the rear window, it's split down the center so can slide to the sides for open view.

G50, maybe active. OBD II on the VH45DE for better WOT power production. Dual variable cam mechanism from VK45DE. Maybe GPS screen like in later JDM G50 in place of the Blows. Rear AC outlets and rear shade, along with manual side shades like the F50 Premium rear passenger doors. Curtains don't cut it. Nismo or Impul wheels. Brembo brakes. Maybe HID like JDM, but lensed for LHD. Don't know if they exist, but did see the late export LHD President on JP Yahoo, so who knows?
