IE-Z Pass not working

I recently purchased a 2008 Nissan Versa and for some strange reason my EZ-Pass tag is not being scanned when I pass a toll booth. I've used the same EZ pass tag with other cars with no trouble, it is only with the Versa that the tag will not work.

Has anyone experienced any difficulty using an EZ-Pass tag with their Versa? I know there are some cars out there with specialized windshields (usually with imbedded metal for heating, etc) that interfere with EZ-Pass but I didn't think this applied to the Versa .

well we got ipass over here but im sure its the same thing, but mine works just fine, i take the tolls nearly everyday also.

I don't know what technology your ez pass uses, but if it's bluetooth, and you have the iKey system, that could be it. The iKey runs off of bluetooth radio frequencies.

This is also the same reason that, if you have an iKey, you are NOT supposed to put it in the same pocket as your cell phone.

I have a 2008 SL with bluetooth and I use EZ Pass every day and have had no problems at all. Where is yours mounted? I have mine just to the right (passenger side)of the rearview mirror.

if you have the intelligent key that sometimes interferes with the signals..so i would get it checked out at your dealer..we have had a couple come in with that problem..

perhaps your tag is Broken?

has it been Dropped?

Call EZpass and they will exchange it!

PS. i use EZpass with my versa everyday

how come ez pass charges me 75$ a month, I dont think i use it tht much I get a bill at the end of the month for 40 and at the end for 35, im amazed if I use the tolls that much.

Are you on any plan?If you are and you cross somewhere else you can get charged twice.

Also what happened to me was I went to the Airport and I paid cash when I left parking, end of the month I had also paid for it with my ezpass (i don't have ezpass plus which can pay for parking)

I have the regular plan pay for what i use like if I put in 40 $ and then use it then they put in another $40 and so on, but wow they keep doing it.

I've got an E-Pass, the florida one, and I have it to the left and right below my rear view mirror, almost behind it...

Scans perfectly, no issues with mine.

weve got a sunpass here in south florida, and ive noticed a few times the damn thing didnt work, it could be cause i had it up at the tint (cause i got fed up and placed it on the dash and it worked. but im not sure if its cause the tint (i think it is tho cause it worked before with np.)

I received a new tag and mounted it on the far right corner of my windshield and it is working fine now. I'm still not sure why the other tag didn't work - it worked fine on my previous car (pathfinder).

Maybe there was some interference from the intelligent key since I had the tag mounted right above the stearing wheel before. I'll have to experiment some more with the tag positioning.
