idle problem and other

my car idles weird sometimes and it sounds like i have racing cams. i just got back from a around the block cruise. i stopped for a minute because i notice when im at a stop light or complete stop i would smell something funny and my engine would jump around 900 and 400 rpm. when i got out i notice white smoke coming out of my exhaust but it wasnt blowing white smoke when i got back to my house. im planning on gettin a tune but i need a SAFC so if you got one for sale let me know

also last night when i would accelarate i would get a hesitation when i get around 4000rpm and just start bogging. my car doesnt pull like it use too when it gets into boost but it could be a boost leak and i might acually know where it is. Just throwing that part out there to see if i have a diffrent problem than a boost leak

sounds like a mafs issue.

I was having the same symptoms, and I found out it was my mafs. Try cleaning your mafs with a mafs cleaner.

and the bogging issue sounds like it would be a spark plug issue. Were you able to rev past 4k?

yea i can rev past 4k rpm but when i accelerate i start bogging. its weird. i just think its a boost leak

also plannin on getting a z32 maf anyway and im also in need of a blow off valve and a boost gauge =/ i no im at stock 7 psi tho

that could be a boost leak as well. But check your plugs and make sure they're gapped correctly. Its an easy and good place to start.

I was also having the same problem at WOT, when boost started kicking in, it would bog and hesitate. I took out my spark plugs and found that my 4th plug has a broken core...

that can be tru and i wouldnt doubt it at all but it doesnt always do that. when im at WOT im fine but when im at 1/2 throttle or 3/4 throttle it would bog at 4k rpm.
