I'm trying to decide on the next step for my truck.My current thoughts are either

Fit 3 door D21 body (cutdown a fair bit) to the Patrol chassis as it stands. ie turboed VH45 etc.

or Fit VH45 into D21 with the D21 chassis and fit the Patrol axles etc under it.

orFit VG30DETT to the D21 body and chass with Patrol running gear.

The auto I have is a RE4R03A so suits all of the above. It will hae coilover suspension so not worried about all that anyway.

Any other thoughts? I want 500 to 600hp and light wieght. Not interested in SBC as I want coil on plug etc for waterproofing.

Does anyone know of a V8 that has been fitted into a D21 engine bay?

In case you wonder how serious I am, my current truck is the Feb ROTM so that will give you an idea of what I'm replacing!
