I35 transmission or Fuel???

I have an '02 I35 with roughly 145k miles on it! Recently noticed issues...Issues are as follows; from a dead stop, shifting out of 1st and 2nd, shifts with a very mild jolt depending on amount of acceleration, and now twice ive noticed WHILE DRIVING (50-60mph) when lightly letting off the gas pedal a stutter as if the shift timing is off or the fuel is not being delivered properly (only noticed while vehicle is cold). I did not notice a drastic or any RPM change with either issue. Should I be concerned about the transmission, fuel system, or timing chain??? Also the airbag/seatbelt light is blinking, carfax showed no collisions but the rear bumper does have a few scuffs (inner city driving) does the whole safety system needs reset and how much would it cost?? I have recently aquired the car and am worried about previous owners as I believe it to of been strictly owned and drivin with inner city style driving. I am limited with where I can have the car looked at due to location. ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!

Looks like you did not do a thorough inspection before buying the car. Check the level and color of transmission fluid. If brownish or black, have it flushed or do multiple drain and refill. Check the entire air intake - replace filter if dirty; clean MAF sensor and check for any leak.

As for the SRS light, below is a link to the reset procedure for 4th Gen but should also work in your car. It's actually in the FAQ 'sticky' within this forum. But if there is a hard fault, then it has to be fixed at a dealership.
