I35 AC Compressor

My alternator went bad, and in the process of changing it out I accidently loosened the bolt to the seal on the a/c line. I lost all my freon.
My question is, if I pay a mechanic to refill my AC will he be able to reset that seal properly? OR do I have to buy a new A/C compressor?

You should be fine. You might need a new drier, or some other bits, but you don't need a new compressor.
