Starting getting this noise this past weekend. Checked the brake pads/rotors and they look ok. But it sounds like the brakes - it can be a constant sound or sometimes it will come and go. When I make a right turn it goes away as well. Thoughts would be appreciated. (Sorry about the wind noise it was an extremely windy day). Car seems to run fine otherwise....just annoying as I can't figure this out. Thanks

Based on symptoms, most likely a bad bearing on the left side. To confirm, jack up the suspected side, then grab the tire at 12 and 6 o' clock positions and try to rock it back and forth. If there is so much play, bad bearing.

I have 2001 Infiniti I30 and I recently had that sort same sound to my car as well. I put my car on jack stands and checked the brakes and replaced them due to looking a little thin. I also checked for any signs of leaking of grease from my cv boots and checked for any wear from any of my suspension. Bingo! I had a bad wheel bearing going out. I replaced that and it solved the issue however; apon my investigation I did notice that I will be needing a lower control arm in the near future.

I had a bad bearing on the driver side on my I30 that I replaced today.. Actually I replaced both sides at the same time.

I pulled the hub then purchased a new bearings with inner and outer seals. I took the hubs to a local NAPA machine shop where they removed the old and pressed in a new bearing.
