The strangest thing had happened to me this week. I have a 99 I30 with 40,000 miles on it, every thing works fine last wednesday night when I park it at home in the grage and then went out of town to Atlanta, Ga. to visit my parants. This morning I got in my car for the first time since Wednesday, I noticed the clock is not lite up and then I also found out the remote and the power-sunroof also didn't work. I later found a bad fuse and then proceed to replace it, but as soon I put the new fuse in the panel I saw a spark and the new fuse was blown as well. I can't seem to find the root cause this problem, Please help!!!!

I didn't have a book to tell me on that Fred, I took the I30 to the the dealer and it took them about 45 minutes to find the problem. It was the wire in the sun visor that have been rub againest the sharp edge of the roof and cut through the wire and cause it the short out. Any way they repair it under warranty and everything is back to normal. Thanks!!!
