As long as you have cash to pay the rent, you can find places called Gaijin Houses. They are actually a guest house, short term type thing. I have a buddy who is staying in one in Tokyo. I warn ya though. It's one room, community shower and toilets. They usually run between $350-$600 a month for rent. If you want to come over this way, I'll talk to my friend and get you some contact information for the place he is staying.

By the way, when are you plannin on comin over and what do you intend to do for 6 months. Wait, now that I think about it, you can come over for a maximum of 90 days. Then after that, you can fly to Korea for a few days then come back. I would hesitate on that though. They are keeping track of the Gaijin that do that. It's actually an illegal way to stay in the country.

Shouldn't this company be taking care of getting you accomodations if they are sending you here? Or are they just paying you a rediculus amount of money?

Cool cool man, can you give me a time frame for when you're gonna be here?

My buddy is in Korea right now, but I can find out when he gets back to get you some info for the guest house.

Alright dude...just let me know now. I'll even try to make it a point to see if I can pick ya up at the airport and take you to where ever you're gonna stay.

The Laurel Taxi Service is quite fun...lol.
