Today didn't start out so well, I had a rough morning...literally. I was on my way to school and was about to make a right turn with a cigarette in one hand, my stickshift in the other, and definitely going faster than I should have been to attempt this turn. Anyway, the right side of my car shakes for a second and I immediately pull over to see the damage. Turns out i scraped the curb with the front corner of my side skirt...right next to the wheel. The wheel had no damage and neither did my bumper. Turns out when I turned the wheel to the right, the back of the wheel turns into the wheel well and was hidden from the curb. The scrape was about the size of a playing card, and looked horrilble. I couldn't get it off my mind during school, and even went on ebay during class to see how much it would cost for some cheap side skirts. Let me remind you, I AM BROKE. So i got home an hour ago and noticed that I could pull back the part of the side skirt that i scraped. So i grabbed my screw driver and the next thing i know the outer part of my side skirt screwed right off and underneath is clean and scratchiness. I just wanted to share to let you guys know not to worry if this ever happened to you. Here is a pick before the accident with the peice still on. I dont have a pic with it off but it looks the awesome! I decided to keep the one on the other side, just in case . P.s...do all of you have this side skirt guard thing? Is it stock or did the person i buy it off of put them on himself? And whats the name of them? Thanks
