I know this is strange for me because I'm always the one that is so against stickers! I just want to make my car different from all the other silver Zs on the road. I have looked at rims, but quite frankly, I like my rims and any that I see that I do really like are very high dollar. I'm thinking about getting this diffuser, I would probably paint it a semi-gloss black. Look at these graphics and let me have your honest opinion. I sure don't want to be a ricey grandma. I would by no means put all of them on. I would either put the big piece on the hood or the two stripes down the side. Of course the cost doesn't matter...It is just that I have always heard that these things are a B*TCH to get off.

Tell me the truth:

No on the graphics.

Yes to diffuser, but I'd paint it to match the car.

Diffusers are for Racecars, you never go full racecar. Unless you're getting a gt wing. Oh, and no on the graphics.

What about a splitter for the front???
Have a buddy that just installed one on his C/S 5.0 and said it improved the handling at 60+....

hmmmm....would like to see it both ways before deciding.
I was surprised when I liked the black diffuser on the white G37 that somebody recently posted.

I've always liked the NISMO graphics kit.

Diffuser looks good too, but make sure you're lowered, or both will look silly.

The great and powerful NICO has spoken! Looks like it is a no go for the graphics. Thanks for the honesty.

I personally like the contrast of the black against the car color. I'm not looking to improve handling, just trying to get a different look. I guess I just can't stand for my car to look stock. Never have. I have had 3 different sets of rims on my Camaro. I'll post a pic when I decide what to do....no graphics though. ;)

Sorry AZ, I started typing before your post hit. I think it is cool looking too. Y'all would have really hated the stripes I had painted on my '77 Z.

I will not lower my car. If that will make the diffuser not look right then I really don't know what to do. :squint:

Body panels are something I would do after performance and handling mods. That's just me.

Yeah, if it's not going to be lowered, the diffuser (or ANY body mods) just won't look right.

Just enjoy it for how awesome it is.

Did you read the article about us driving the pre-production 370Z's?

im not really into the graphics either... but like the diffuser, both front and back. you could do a small drop just to make the diffuser look better...

Me too. I'm all about function before fashion.

I agree with the function before fashion...to a degree.
However, in the case I believe that Becki is fine with the function at this point and just wants opinions on how to personalize her car a little.

I think the diffuser would be a nice touch! I don't believe that she has to make it track worthy with a cage, fuel cell, lowered, etc. in order to justify adding it.

I also think a splitter would set it off. Just not sure if I would paint them the same color as the car or black.....what do you guys think???

I Googled the splitter and to say the least, I didn't feel the love. :squint:

Also, if I do go to the track, I'm taking my supercharged V8 ;)
