here's some more fitment pics. it's a quality product and I'm really impressed they managed to make it fit that well where the mustache was.

Maybe you could photoshop it all black and then all body color?
I agree. I think if you'd paint the factory trim (top and both sides, currently blue) that goes around the grille black, along with maybe a matte black for the support bracket behind so it wouldn't reflect (and maybe anything else behind that may show through (radiator?)), it would look pretty good. Would love to see a photoshop

The color match isn't perfect, but I did this relatively quickly....

Wondered the same thing, but figured it out; socket wrench.

Hey mcheddadi do you have your radiator painted, because it's not sticking out like a sore thumb like I thought it would? Also, I’m thinking it would look good with the grill shaved into the bumper. All-in-all thumbs up

One thing I still would like to know that I asked earlier in this thread, but was never answered....

What's this thing made of? Is it Urethane, Fiberglass, some other kind of plastic? Or is it Steel or some other kinda metal?? (I'm not talking about the mesh, but the framing around the mesh).

wow, I do like this a lot. I am also curious to see how this looks with the trim on the sides completely blacked out. Also, I'm curious as to how you'd fit the Nissan seal on there? Some kind of adhesive?

it's some somewhat sturdy stuff with fiber like texture behind it so I'm guessing fiberglass

thanks to everyone who emailed. it's been sold. Buyer doesn't want me to tell who he is since he wants to do a big reveal with other upgrades.

if you know who he is, keep it to yourself

No, he got the grill, removed his bumper to install it, and then uninstalled the grill to sell the grill to somebody else. He has returned to the factory grill + bumper.

well, my guess is he sold it because, after it arrived and he installed it, he thought to himself the same thing that many of us were thinking when we saw the pictures posted... 'it just looks kind of... uhhh... plain'

I was excited prior to the unveilng.. but I don't like how it looks on the car at all.... so now I'll continue to be stuck with the factory grill until I see someting that I really like...

Yeah! I should be getting it soon too! C-MOD just send an email to a select few (like 5 peps) to try out the grille before the actual release. he tells us that it should be released soon to everyone! (1-2 month)

I can't show you guys the pics yet as he's asked to not show anything before he does. but what I can tell you is that I've already photoshopped something similar in the past

well it took almost 2 years since the release of the car and now it's finally here! YAY!

anybody else on NICO got in on the limited first run?

For anyone that hasn't seen my latest pics thread, here's a little post-whoring for ya! I think it's a slice of alright on a black coupe:

...and some unedited, non-HDRi shots...although I think it looks pretty much the same!

I would really like to see pics (or hear details) on the way the mesh is secured to the border... Also, what kind of coating (if any) is on the mesh... A look at the back... etc
