i think my piston rings r shot

wuz up guys i have a 92 nissan 240 and the guy i bought it from sprayed the motor now i think the piston rings r gone bcuz it smokes dis whitish smoke and i want 2 kno if that is the problem does it cost alot 2 fix or should i put another ka in it bcuz i was plannin on boostin this one but now i think that mite not be a good idea

do a compression test, then add oil to cylinders and do it again... normal procedure

typically white smoke is coolant burning, so u might have a blown headgasket, or even some intake manifold issues if the motor was sprayed.

id start with a compression check to try to better asses the damage.
