I sold my beautiful Pathy a few months ago. Typical me. Get a vehicle completely fixed up, sell it, miss it and regret it. Oh well. I was always fond of the black QX4s on here.
I have a baby on the way and can drive a company vehicle home... But it's only a single cab Chevy.
I will now be in the market for a QX4 in black very soon. I will wait until I find a low mileage one from the south and pay a little extra for it. I think that since I am familiar with how everything works or not on them, they are addicting. :bigthumb:

I miss your Pathfinder too! :gapteeth: It was sweet.

Good luck with the hunt for a QX4. If you want any help with the seemingly endless maintenance that usually occurs after buying a 'new' used car, feel free to send me a PM. :)

Months ago, I saw one for sale here in Vancouver BC at a Chrysler Dealership. It had 250,000km and was pretty beat up but was only $7,000

I read an article not too long ago in the auto section of our local newspaper titled "Sellers Remorse".
Definitely got me thinking about all the cars I've owned/sold, and which ones I'd like to have back.
This subject would make for an interesting thread.
As far as my Pathfinder is concerned, I've already told my wife that if I ever see a good low mileage cream puff late model R50, I'm buying it.
In my imaginary world, I'd love to buy a brand new 2003-4 Pathfinder/QX4. :bigthumb:

Ha ha. Thanks guys. I didn't even know there was a Platinum edition QX4. I'll look into that, but only looking for one black in color.

A local guy here in south Florida. He is working near here in Jupiter for a while, but he is from Orlando. He said he knew he wanted one and started to Google Platinum Pathfinders. Mine was the first one to pop up and it had a bunch of pics of it on Google. I saw it for the first time in 3 months the other day. He took the brush guard off, painted the rear tailight guards black and kept the wheels the same. I must say, I did a pretty great job on the wheels.

I will be either looking for an 02+ Qx4 or a couple of completely differnt vehicles. The only reason i might stay away from the QX4/Pathy is the fuel mileage. For such a small SUV it's pretty bad.

SERIOUSLY! It's one of the reasons my car is for sale. I love the power, the pick up, (the touch, the feel of cotton :rotfl ),the performance but I no longer need all the space, 95% of the time I'm the only person in the car and since I'm done with school I don't need to move around anymore. Looking for something smaller, faster,& easier on my pockets.
Reliability is a huge plus! I haven't spent a DIME!

Yeah, if you honestly look at the reliability of our suv's, with simple maintenance and correct fluid changes etc, they run forever, which if you look at it, the gas mileage is a small trade off when you drive you car more then you spend working on and fixing things on it. Let alone the cost of repairs you can rack up on some vehicles it offsets the couple less mpg we get.

Mine has too much done to it to have me think about selling it, and i also learned alot of things with working on it. In a year/year and a half, im doing a turbo setup like alfredos and its gonna be the weekender.

PS: Hey sbk, if you sell yours, put the stock lights back in and ship me your projector fitted ones :bigthumb:
