I have a 1991 240sx with the ka24de and an auto trans and 114k miles. The problem has been going on for a while now and I've tried searching with no luck to my problem. Ok so the car normally starts fine the first time I start it for the day, I let it warm up but as soon as a drive it about four miles it dies, and wont start back. It cranks and cranks but wont start. I have checked fuel pressure, fuses, changed distiburter cap, button, plugs and wires, ignition coil and ignition control module. but no luck. So I finally took it to the nissan dealer, they had it for over a week and couldn't figure it out. Its not throwing any codes. I have pulled the wire off the ignition coil after it dies and have found that there is no spark threw the coil. After the car dies you have to wait about an hour and it will start back up only to die once you drive it again. PLEASE HELP ThanksDavid

I have the same car, engine and transmission wise. And today i was driving on the interstate at about 70-75mph and all of sudden the RPM's just die and the car stalls. So i had to pull over to the side of the road and try to start, it would crank and crank but no result, so turn the key off, put the car in park and wait about a min, finally the car cranks up and i drive onward to my destination, it didnt do it on the way back luckily, but im stumped as to why this happened, im thinking maybe the transmission is going out?? not sure, help PLESE@!!!
