Do you think it's a good idea to install a CAI at 10k miles? I don't want any engine problems (I'm very heavy on the pedal) because Nissan doesn't cover problems if caused by aftermarket parts.

I'm planning to get an intake (haven't decide which brand yet) before summer time, and I hope nothing will happen to my V... since the MR18 isn't designed for the racing scene...

Unless a CAI is installed improperly you wont have any problems with it.

Put the stock intake back on it, before you take it back to the dealership. lol

Umm, just my 2 cents: The V has a small 1.8L engine thats tuned for economy. Giving it an aftermarket intake would give you (maybe) 2-3 HP at the top end. You can get the same effect by not eating and shaving off a few pounds. If you want it for the sound then by all means go ahead. The intake is simple enough to just pop the stock one back in when you take it in for service.
