I need help with my 95 nissan hardbody

ok the problem is my gauge cluster the fuel gauge work the temp and speed and rpm dont but when u unplug the fuel the rpm gauge comes on and when you start the truck at night u can see the brake light on but its dim

Just guessing, I think you might have a bad ground problem on the back of the cluster board. With a bad ground, all of your instruments can't fully operate just like they aren't getting enough voltage. Check for rusty spots or damage on your ground thingys on the back of your cluster.

If you can, try to use another cluster. If the other cluster works fine, then your problem lies within your cluster. If the other cluster acts the same way, then the problem is limited to the plugs and wiring.

Although I can't rule out voltage problems, I tend to think that all of your instruments get voltage seperately so they shouldn't all go goofy at the same time?? But I think they all share the ground signal on the clusterboard....Unplugging instruments would allow other instruments to use the ground signal better, theoretically.
