if you wanna ball out get a z32 trans out of a 300zx twin turbo.

that will handle anything you can throw at it with 1.8 litres.

an adapter plate needs to be fabricated.

Dont quote me but I feintly remember Mazworks making one for sr20det?

I never looked into z32 internal gearing, so I cannot answer that question for you.

mazworx will make an adapter plate for just about anything.

since the Z32 trans is used on the RBs(from what i understand anyways) it seems like the logical choice. maybe an RB25 trans wouldnt be a horrid choice either.

Get the ZF gearbox out of an e46 m3. 100% indestructible. Someone was using one on their car because the 800bhp it was putting out was ripping apart stock s-chassis gearboxes left and right. Forget who, think I saw it in a magazine when I was visiting my grandpa in England.

Another good choice is the Tremec 6060 out of the new Corvette ZR1 and Cadillac CTS-V. If it can handle 556 supercharged horses, you should be set.
