I missed my Initial D dvd Box set

god damnit, every time i get something delivered to my house i ALWAYS miss the ups guy. this time it was the entire initial D 10 dvd box set and i want it now! (i have been waiting for two weeks!!!)

u should try to get 3rd stage on good quality because 3rd stage is good.

the extra stage is kinda stupid. It talks about the girls with the sil-eighty about their vacation or some ****.

Is this the same as the one that's supposed to come to america later? something about the names of the characters being changed and all? where did you get it?

No they have pirated HK bootlegs with scripts stolen from Central Anime.

i wouldnt get the ones they release here because the dubbing always sucks and would rather read subtitles, go to Ebay and type "initial D" and you will get 10 pages of crap that no one bothers to bid on, including moives, car models, and all sorts of initial D parafanelia (sp?). thats where i got my movies, i suggest this guy FU88, he had the best price and it only took like 9 or 10 days to get to my house from singapore.

i would be glad if they didnt release it here. One, like i said, dubbing always sucks, and two, the last thing we need is a ****load of ricers crashing their civics into something when they try and drift...

I buy all my Anime DVD's from getterdome on ebay. They're just great. Everything comes from Hong Kong, sometimes with good subs, sometimes with bad subs. I got my initial-D from there, Hajime no ippo (boxing anime), and Prince of Tennis (Tennis anime). It's the best we can do.

Thats you out of a large group of people who have eagerly awaited this release and Marmalade Boy coming up from the same company.1. Dubbing does not always suck, get out of the JDM mindframe that everything japanese is great. I would and my friends would and others will agree Ranma dubbing is better than the raw version. Basing dubs all on Funimation, 4kids, and other company's who dont give a rats *** is a bad thing to do. Dubbing opens up more and more oppurtunitys. Companies do have good dub casts: Pioneer, Animenation, RightStuf, CPM

I would like it if Nissan didn't release the murano because "SUVS always suck." They will though despite what I say because it will sale and thats what counts. If you were in the position of those companys and had to make a profit you would quickly step down your high and mighty SUBBING RULES stand and go find some dubbers.

There's not going to be an abundance of ricers, there will be some but not an explosion like F&F. Not that many people watch anime to begin with and if it does make cable television maybe .0000005 percent more will watch. Goto school tomorrow and ask people if they watched Kenshin, Mobile Fighter G Gundam, etc. etc. on the Cartoon Network lineup, where they all get their fixins.

The last thing we need is an assload of idiots pirating their anime and ruining the chances for others. Infact the Initial D dvds will have Dolby 5.1 sound, does HK bootlegs I doubt it. It will have optional subtitles and optional sign subtitles NOT JUS A DUB. Also it will be packaged with extras on the dvd and extra items. Will the HK, no sure won't.

In closing, you sir are one of those "ricers" of the anime community. Enjoy your day.

uhhh, dude, i didnt buy bootlegs (subtitles are and option on it in both english and chinese), they are origional and four of the five i still have in the factory wrappers, and im definatly not a ricer (i've got plenty of people who can attest to that). where do you get these funny ideas???

plus, subtitles are a preference of mine, so no matter what you say can make me like or accept dubbing...
