ditto , my intake was flawless... however, to be honest, i've seen the fujita intake in person, and those that claim fujita's is of better quality have a good argument... that said, the rubbnig issue appears to affect the 2.5 more so than the 3.5dangeris wrote:I looked at mine before I installed it and all the welds are beautiful, the inside is smooth. Probably yours was a "reject" but I would definitely post up some pics and at least give kyle form Stillen a chance to rectify the problem. The one thing that I am concerned about is the location of the MAF sensor. People are saying that it rubbing but not sure where. I'm deducting that it is rubbing on the hood liner....
I have to agree with Shift_Mikey. When I installed mine, I notice there was a bit of tension on the wire harness that plugs into th MAF sensor. Would of been better if the MAF was more like in the 2 or 3 o'clock position. None the less, I think I'm going to watch it closely as time goes on. Heavy duty shrink wrap might be an option.shift_mikey wrote:yeah aside from the botch-job tubing, i'm not crazy about the idea of the MAF sensor position. Just the fact that it sticks straight up,
