deeyum son... 18's? for your vert right? Why not go 17's? btw, your rear tire is for 19, lol. I'm not a fan of 255's on a 9"

my suggestion, honestly, I'd go with 17x9 + 20 all around, with like 225/45/17. I'm not a big fan of xd9's in a staggard set-up for some reason. and I would never match up 18" diameter with an 8" width... it just doesnt sound right. If you were to do a staggard set up on 18's, I'd go with a 9/10 at least

here's Chuck's ride. iirc, 17x9.5+20 (i think he told me +20) all around; 225/45 all around as well

and yes... fender roll is necessary. no pull needed.

Quick question. If I buy these, does it make me a baller?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWD1V

LOL Seriously though, would I need over fenders or a lot of extra crap to run these flush? If not I might pick em up...

daaaaaaaaaaam!!! 18x12 -21!!! lol... you'd need like a 70mm overfender for the rears!!! do they even make anything like that? haha, I know they make 50mm fenders, then you can prolly add some 20mm fender flares... I'm tryin to imagine how it would look... haha, insane.

they'd go perfect with my uncle's supra w/ trd widebody, but iirc, he's running 13"s with a less agressive offset...

*sigh* one day...

lol Adrian Bite me lol

Naa I don't have a gauge cluster in my car right now so I am looking for a new one (or at least new to me). If I buy a used one I am going to replace it with a new gauge face, or do you think that is the entire cluster? I don't think it is, but I get a little confused on stuff that isn't in the engine. I can do that ****.

No I don't think that is the entire cluster...

That always confused me about the 2JZ. The intake manifold and turbo are on the wrong side.

Kinda sorta. It will requires some modifications all of which will depend on whether or not you have ABS. Regardless of whether or not you have ABS, the 300ZX master cylinder will work. If you do not have ABS, you will need to remove the plug from the second front brake line port. If you have ABS, you do not have to remove the plug. In that case go straight to the master cylinder installation. Usually, an allen wrenchwill be enough to remove the plug. You will notice that the plugged hole on the master cylinder is missing the flair fitting. You have two options 1. you will need to find a bubble flair tool to put a flair in the line that will work without the missing fitting. 2. remove a fitting from the stock 240 MC and use it in the new MC. The fittings are pressed into the master cylinder and cannot be removed without destroyed the 240's master cylinder. Use a cutting wheel to cut out the small fitting. Be careful not to cut into the fitting. That's it..

I'm not too possitive on the subject, but I remember reading somewhere that it will mess with the bias of the bmc or something like that... you're better off finding rear z32's as well, or just upgrading to something smaller up front like q45's where its a bit more balanced

IIRC using the Stock BMS with the Z32 fronts is what upsets the bias. The use of the Z32 BMC will correct it...

The way OE proportioning valves work is that the front and rear line pressures go up by the same amount until the pressure reaches the so-called "split point". At this point, the rear pressure increases at a lower rate than the front pressure (with the proportionality factor given by the reducing ratio).

Now the reducing ratio for the Z32 and 240sx MC's are the same (0.4), so the only difference is the split point. The Z32's split point is lower than the 240sx, so above the split point, the Z32's rear line pressure will always be lower than that of the 240sx.

Enjuku Racing had a brand new longblock for sale awhiles back but it is long sold. In short, you cannot buy a brand new SR20DET. Also any new motors you find will be crate motors and won't include anything to get the motor running, no exhaust manifold, no turbo, no intercooler piping, no intercooler, no recirculation valve, no intake manifold, no fuel rail, no injectors, no ECU, No wiring harness. In short, drop the idea of a new SR. They don't exist. Nissan does not make crate motors for the SR anymore.
