The victims

The culprit:

That's six birds in two days... It's been a lot less quiet around our apartment recently. She was apparently able to catch them because she somehow got rid of her collar and bell.

Awesome. I bet the maggots will add an extra zesty crunch.

My ex had 2 cats which were killers. There were 2 birds and a squirrel under the deck at one point. Of couse because I was the man, I had to clean it up. So I got the shovel and picked up the squirrel first, it fell off the shovel, then maggots exploded out of it with a pile if them in the original spot. Once again..

The culpret(s)... partners in crime

I haven't eaten or hunted birds in a very long time. The last time I went hunting it upset me too much.

Those cats throw down. Killin' s*** all day, then back to the pad to crush some beers.

My cats couldn't kill a houseplant.

They're helpless.

My black cat probably eats at least 1 square meal a day courtesy of unwise birds. When we picked out his collar, we specifically chose one that didn't make any noise at all so we would not ruin his hunting. If you scare off birds while he's setting up a kill he'll give you a glare of death and growl at you before walking off.
