Nah, you just need some bell bottoms, pearl snap shirt, cowboy hat and big mustache... and a CB radio! With a cool CB handle...

Nice battlestation you have there
Thanks! Ready access to bad/spare parts helps. A lot of my monitors have rebuilt power supplies and were "trash" but work fine after a bit of soldering.

HQ of DOom looks pretty sweet these days. How much heat do those monitors emit?
Not a ton. Three of the monitors in that picture have external power supplies, so they're light, thin, and cool. The real heatsource is the 2.2kva UPS under the desk. It's also far louder than the PC (Corsair AIO watercooler and very quiet ASUS GTX 1080). But it can't compete with my older air-cooled Nehalem i7 with MSI GTX 970 on the other desk in the office--I keep that noisy beast thing turned off unless I need it.

The top monitor uses the Surface as its second input, so I can watch Youtube/racing while playing a game. The bottom three work pretty well for Nvidia Surround depending on the game (GTA5 handles FoV scaling very badly and stuff is really distorted at the edges, but Far Cry 5 works nicely:).

I learned the Xbox One X can play a huge amount of older Xbox, Xbox 360 games :)

I just don't have the capability to grow the mullet required to pull off a Trans Am.
I'm Australian.
It's in my DNA to be able to grow a mullet.
Send me a Trans-Am so I can fulfil my destiny. You can have my 300ZX as trade.

Okay, last upgrade for a bit, then I think I'm done for now (unless DDR4 prices drop suddenly)...

For a flip or for keeps? Either way if you can get it for a grand I'd roll with it

How much room do you have for car storage?
Also, I see those pics were hosted on photobucket. Did you pay for 3rd party hosting? Or is the "photobucket embed fix" add-on for chrome that I have finally working?
Can everyone else see those pics?

Torque steers like a biotch if you're not ready for it. Makes for a good efficient daily though.
Also a good backup track toy for if/when it rains on your track day. I took it to the Santa run @ Barber motorsports park in December.
I was passing vettes, vipers, and Zs like it was my job.

I hear ya. Kinda how I feel about the Evo. It performs and handles amazing, but it also makes the perfect daily for a car guy. Especially here in CO. I run Blizzaks for the winter and go “rallying” every time it snows. Only real downside is that I kinda make too much power for real track use because I’ll blow up the transfer case. Not a big deal for circuits, but I can’t use the launch control for any off the line stuff or I’ll be a couple grand in the hole.

I’ve wanted an Evo ix MR since I was in high school.... last year my father in law found mine at a garage sale. It’s a 12 year old car he found with 57k on it. As of today I have 78k on it. I feel horrible for depreciation on its value from driving it so much, but damn is it fun. It has an intake, exhaust, LICP, QuarterMaster Twin Disk, Walbro 255, and a badass tune. Best DD ever.

eff value and depreciation right in the a. drive the piss out of it, and complain about your cheeks hurting from grinning later. smiles per gallon, my friend. smiles per gallon.

Realistically, you’re right. In the end I don’t really plan on ever selling this damn thing. Only real downside is cost of maintenance. The AWD system is intense.

Saw a new NSX in traffic yesterday. They're a lot less tubby looking in person than in photos. Kind of don't hate it.

Basically everything that's not internals and turbos. Exhaust from the heads back, bunch of shifter component stuff, ect. Also intake stuff. Gonna be here monday allegedly. Finally got my tracking number for all of it.
