Nah... the Mitsuoka Orochi looks like a fish and is ugly in a very artistic way... This car looks like a super sexy futuristic G Coupe. Shame it's an electric car.... Don't get my started on electric cars... they are such a joke. Wave of the future... bah!

I believe it has a turbo V6 in there and the electric is just an "assist motor".looks like the GT-R and G37 made a baby and this is what came out

I think it looks more like a G37 and Aston Martin. I don't see any of the GTR's sharp visual cues anywhere.

i heard somewhere that they use oil to make most of the electricity we use so even if we go to an all electric system, we'll still use oil to make the electricity. if we go hydrogen powered, we need electricity to split the hydrogen from the oxygen (H20). maybe if we used solar energy to power the electricity to make the hydrogen energy? idk, i'm no expert at this... just bored smoking hookah at my friends house and we started talking about random s*** and thought about all this lol

Hussain, when you plug something into your electrical outlet at home, 70% of that energy comes from Natural Gas. So yes, it's still a fossil fuel. This is PART of why Electric Cars = Fail.

The other part has to due with the fact that in order to re-charge a electric car, you need to have a place to charge it (aka - a garage). Only people with houses have garages, yet the best place to own a electric car is in an urban city, yet majority of people in urban cities (like myself) don't have garages, we park on the street. Why are they better for Urban cities, because you typically aren't going to go faster than 40mph on a local street, plus you won't be traveling more than 175 miles (the typical range of a electric cars' batteries). Yes, this # will get better... but I still refer to my first point that electricity still is in actuality.... a fossil fuel. The BY FAR worst thing about an electric car is the fact that once you've driven that 175 miles and drained the battery... you will need to recharge it for about 17 HOURS to refill it. This would require someone to own 2, one to use, and one to recharge and keep swapping between the two during the week if they use that car to commute to work.

Forget about going on a road-trip in an electric car. You wouldn't get very far, and if you're low on battery, it's not like you can pull over to a station and re-charge in 5 mins and you'd be back on the road...

Again, Electric Car = Fail.

Hydrogen cars I think are the future. Problem is, it's going to take a long time to switch Gas stations to Hydrogen Stations through the US and other parts of the world. I know right now, there is a region of them in LA for people who are currently testing the new Hydrogen cars, like the Honda FCX Clarity. That thing is amazing (tech wise, not visually aesthetically wise).

ya i agree with everything you said about the electric cars. i feel hydrogen is best because it would similar to what we currently use. we use gas and air for the combustion engine. with the hydrogen cars it would be hydrogen and air. so you could just stop at a gas station and fill up the car in the same time it takes to fill up a car now days.... plus we could still use turbos lol get turbos and i guess larger injectors to spray more hydrogen and create more electricity to the motors.

my friend says the down side is that you waste energy making the hydrogen fuel... after you've slit it from water, when you use oxygen to reunite them its not as "powerful" (for lack of a better word). he claims that they now have the technology for like a 20 min refuel of an electric car.

I haven't heard that. When I went to the NY Auto Show this year, I spoke to the rep for the Chevy Volt and they said it would take 17 hours to refuel it, so that's where my previous statement came from. Ask you're friend which car he's talking about, because I haven't heard an electric car charging in 20 mins. IF that technology comes to power, maybe it'd be worth it, but like I said... it's still fossil fuels.

Scientists right now have discovered an form of algae, essentially "pond scum" that can create hydrogen instead of oxygen in a lab creating essentially a hydrogen bio-farm making Hydrogen a renewable resource (which is already one of the most abundant gasses in the universe).

Like I said, Hydrogen, not Electric is the future.... Once we can get a better fuel cell working, it's going to be amazing, because hydrogen is more combustible than petroleum gas.... which means faster and better cars.

he said it was the new Tesla sedan... Tesla is known for there fast sports car (Tesla roadster) and now they're trying to gain appeal for a daily driver electric car... and i was mistaken, its 45 minute charge not 20 minute. heres the link

Impressive... I didn't know they were making a sedan, I had only heard about their roadster, which was impressive, yet impractical for anyone other than the super rich.

It's actually a nice looking car too! Reminds me of a Aston Martin DBS or Jaguar XK.
