so its now tipping the 100 degree mark and Im tired of no AC. I have the system all hooked up and charged just never hooked it up. I have looked at the wiring diagrams and having many harness issues to the point where I just want to wire the compressor to a switch and be done with it.

thus, I need to no which side is the Positive and which is the ground on the compressor itself.

I will be running the switch to the ground side and wire the power side to the ACC relay(nice short run of cable that way as well).

any input?

How is it hard to wire up the AC? Thats like, three buttons and a slider switch thingy. Come on Gabby, you can DO this!

T-Top sucks though for daily driving...specially in DE/PA area in afternoon traffic...

first your burning in the sun and heat trapped by peoples exhaust..

then when you break free and can drive 60+mph your **** could fly out, wind is blowing your face and you cant hear anything, LOL...

but its better than a HBack with no AC...

specially if you have a girlfriend who wants to talk to you on the way home because if you have your window open you cant hear her, and if you have it closed your basically in an oven...i swear you guys can powder coat something and leave it in my car, or bake cookies...

T-tops do suck in traffic, I'll admit that. but I keep my car clean so nothing flies out when i drive. I keep sweatshirts in my car just to weigh anything down in the backseat

And t-tops dont make it hard to hear, least not for me. when a window is half down u get more wind noise then when the roof is off.Plus I'll tell ya, exiting a corner and hitting boost with the tops off... well its a feeling that jsut can't be beat!

i could vouche for that...being in the bed of a truck is alot less noisey than half opened window...and hatchback 240sx..ohgod it collects all that noise in the back lol... ...and id have to try exiting a corner topless...

as far as gabby's problem goes...

couldnt you just get like a 12v external source...like batteries or something...and test it?

yes I can...... just dont really feel like wiring it up backwards. none of the diagrams I can find make it easy to tell which side of the compressor is ground and which side is the hot side.

Got a $25 multimeter? Go outside and check it. I'll wait.

I can vouch for this, especially when you have a turbo :P

Turbo + T-Tops > AC

besides who doesn't like cruising around topless?
