I usually frequent the Z32 forums, I've ownded 3, and now I have owned 3 Maximas as well, as I just purchased my '02 SE 6-spd with 184k miles for $4,400. I've looked for months within 3 hours drive from where I live for a 5th Generation 6-spd worth buying, and finally.. I found one! :chuckle:

In comparison to all the others I found around here this was the best option in my price range and within my standards for a tuning foundation. She has 184,000 miles but pulls great, no weird noises, clutch is fine for so much mileage, cloth interior with manual air/heat (would have loved to have leather and automatic climate control like my Z, but.. not that important, and hard to find in good condition).

I just had the wheels balanced and rotated today, they had no weights on them and the steering wheel vibrated like crazy once I hit about 70mph, but now it's smooth sailing all the way through 130mph (open highway, lol). I absolutely love this car, it is my 3rd Maxima, my 7th Nissan, (I think I'm an addict, 3 Z32s, 1 240SX and 3 Maximas).

Anyway, I will post pictures tomorrow after detailing her, as of now she needs two 02 sensors (or just the MAF cleaned/replaced), new plugs, possibly a coil pack and exhaust (P.O. chopped it lol). Other than that it's all cosmetic, I'm in the process of restoring the headlights and removing the spray tint from the tail lights.. some people.. :tisk:

:dblthumb:

NISMO FTW!!! :woot:

I loved my 2k2. If you are interested I have an Injen intake left over from mine and an unused RVM underdrive pulley.

^ thanks.. it truly is a blast to drive. Been window shopping for days as well as researching the car. They have so so much potential.. I should have pics by tomorrow. It rained today so I couldn't do much as far as washing it.

Congrats on the purchase! I'd love to have a 2k2 6spd! I probably would never want another car again if I could track one down, but i've been very happy with my I30 as well. I just miss having a manual transmission.
