this weekend its all about the V... rims are getting a good paint job and putting a blue neon up in the bumper to glow and using some new wax that i got at a car show... only sad thing is for the next two days my V is going to be up on jack stands... =( but this new wax calls for a wet look that you only have to wax it every 6 months... i`ll be sure to post some pics sunday night...

Color me jealous that you have weather that you can actually work in... I need to get some stuff done on the Rambler, but it's going to rain and there's not enough room to work in my pathetic excuse for a garage.

sucks about the jack stands... what color are you painting the rims?... that wet look wax always looks better on dark colored cars.

Any wax that you only use every 6 months is bogus. I was my car once a month then do the whole treatment every 6. whole treatment includes, but is not limited to, wash, dry, clay bar, paint cleaner, polish (black), and a GOOD NAME BRAND (P21s) CARNAUBA WAX remeber a new paint job is expensive but taking care of the original one isn't. jsut my .02

royal purple... got it at a car show... its a all in one wax... and i saw what it does there was a guy there put it on there and poured water on it and the water just fell right off and was dry right after... im testing it out this weekend and i`ll inform you on how good it is... but Nufinsh has been the best wax that ive ever used on my old cars and trucks...

Any wax should cause water to almost immediately bead up and run off. I use this cool Zymol wax. The great part is once you use it up, they refill it for free! It's a little pricey, but $30,000 is a small price to pay to protect the paint on an $18,000 car. http://zymol.com/shop/item.asp?PID=1516&scID=25
