I have had my Stillen Catback since August and as time passed by, I barly hear it anymore. I have a Fujita Short Ram installed too and I feel that the sound of the intake overpowers the exhaust. Anyone have a similar issue?

Or maybe it's just me

It's called, 'getting used to it.' That, or you are going deaf.

lol, I concur... After I installed my intake I seemed to notice it more than the exhaust at times.

My eyes are bad, but not my ears. I may be getting used to but I find it hard to believe a $200 intake over powers the sound of a $700 catback exhaust.

ya the stillen exhaust is the quietest one. you could probably try to sell the stillen cat-back and when you go to a local muffler shop for quad tips, you can get a custom exhaust with a "magnapack muffler". its a type of magnaflow muffler and i think its what they use for the Artisan exhaust.... with a custom cat-back and quad tips, the whole set-up should be around $400, maybe a little more.

i get these numbers from a local muffler shop near me who did an amazing exhaust on a 2.5s altima coupe for $350 with tips and everything. but with quad tips, you need 2 more tips. so somewhere around $400... you could probably sell your stillen exhaust, and get this whole set-up done for how much u sell the still exhaust for.

I mean it's not reallt bothering me. The catback was a gift from my girlfriend and it has some sentimental value to me. I think I may be done modding my car as far as perfornance goes. The quad tips may be it...

Since it was a gift..if my girl was making what she makes now(she just graduated from college and got a job right away)I would have asked for a Borla.

How does the cost of the item have anything to do with how loud it is? You must also think that a louder car means its making more power.....

Just saying that for a $700 exhaust it should be louder then an Intake.
