because someone on here asked me if i would sell him my hks twins and downpipe and it was an offer i could not refuse. also i was getting tired of my downpipe clearance issues i had with my steering and my turbos were only rated to 640hp or something like that and i wanted more power.

Its the new precision billet series stuff. The 6765 refers to a 67mm inducer on the compressor and 65mm inducer on the turbine side. They offer them in a bunch different turbine housings so I am not sure which one he has.

The 67mm compressor inducer is a little misleading since it is a billet turbo with a very modern design so it actually flows much more than the size suggests. In fact I think people have pushed over 900whp on the 6765. The downside to the new PTE stuff is that they literally don't give you a compressor map and only give you a maximum flow rate/conservative horsepower rating... so you have to go completely off of real world results (which have been great!)

OP:

Good choice for a drag turbo. It will be a little laggy probably but once it hits it will hit hard! Should be a good fit in terms of horsepower as well, not too stressed to hit the number. With that said what do you plan to do in terms of the chassis and driveline? 800whp is A LOT of power in an s-chassis. Truthfully that is more than enough to run some low low 9s assuming you can put it down.

well i have spec triple disc clutch, spl solid aluminum diff bushings, z32 n/a diff with kazz 1.5 way lsd and greddy rear diff cover, spl subframe collars, and the 5 bolt axles until i get the money for the mazworx axles or drive shaft shop axles. i have the mckinney driveshaft that should be able to handle it if not im going to get one from driveshaft shop. also have subframe connectors and arp wheel studs. but im still building so there is alot of things im still considering. on pump gas i should hopefully be in the 550-650hp range and on race gas for the strip i should hopefully be putting down 800hp+.

Please pardon the ignorant question if its been covered somewhere else and i didn't see it..

What are you doing internally? Literally curious as i am currently undertaking a very similar build myself. Just like to know what other peoples opinions are on internal goodies...

+1 for a really nice precision turbo!!

Holy s*** your car is going to be crazy. more info on your fuel system. Im still trying to figure out the fuel surge thing. I know it stays full to suply fuel to your pumps. Which lines go where? Fuel system confuses the hell out of me.

well the walboro in the stock fuel tank supplies the fuel surge tank and then there is a return coming off the surge tank (so when its full it returns back to the stock tank) then i have to -6 lines supplying each bosche 044 pump and then with my greddy fuel rail i will have to feeds for the front and rear of the rail. (so pretty much have 1 bosche 044 pump for each 3 cylinders. then run 1 -6 return line from the rail that goes to the surge tank.

its pretty much a mini fuel cell but still allows me to use the stock tank and fuel level sensor.

well i just got my evo 8 brembo calipers back from RBchroming today and i had them rebuilt and powdercoated and clearcoated and they came out amazing.Im going to be using the dba evo 8 rotors (17" wheel minimum required)

when i get moved im going to do the 300zx rear brake swap and master cylinder swap, and ill gind off the nissan emblem off em and have em powdercoated the same and put brembo stickers on those. I think that it would look and perform great.

well i finally got settled in at my new house in Socal and ive been working on my project now that i have time.

well i dropped off my block and head etc. over at the machine shop a couple of days ago and it should be done from there in a couple of weeks. and then from there im taking the car to power by max in escondido, ca for the intercooler piping, downpipe and screamer pipes, then after that its going to the body shop to get the body and paint done.

here is the current progress
installed my kazz 1.5 way lsd into my z32 n/a diff, and my greddy rear diff cover (wich ill show the finished diff once i get a couple of little things from the nissan dealer)
Image

installed my r33 gtr momo aniversary steering wheel
Image

installed my s15 silvia autech seats (the rear s15 autech seats are on the way to match the front wich i had www.jdmhookup.com get for me when he was in Japan)
Image
Image

this week im going to send my diff output shafts to mazworx to be modified for my new mazworx race axles. im dropping my rear subframe to weld the mazworx rear subframe brace, install my spl solid subframe bushings and solid diff bushings and repaint it. then intsall my spl rear rucas, toe rods, drag links, and my tien flex coil overs.
More to come soon so stay tuned
