well I should have the last of my parts to finish my motor tomorrow and I will need to drop my intake off at my polisher. while I'm waiting on that I will also ship out my power fc to apexi to recalibrate it for my 4bar map sensors. I then can also finish installing the timing belt, front covers, crank pulley and drive belts. Then the polisher should only take about a week or so and then i can finish the motor and drop it in and then finish my plumbing and mount my oil and p/s coolers. Then when i get the motor back in, I will build my custom downpipe and intercooler piping, break in the motor, clutch and lsd, then its off to AMS for my 93oct with meth tune (shooting for 650rwhp) and then a race gas w/ meth tune (shooting for 800-850rwhp). So stay tuned for the future pics and updates. :naughty:

well i got my parts today, and they forgot my crank pulley bolt and did not finish modifying my greddy intake plenum for my power fc IAT sensor to fit, so I need to take it to the machine shop here this week to have him modify it for me. But today i came across a deal i could not pass up today and it involved a R32 RB26 long block and i just took the crank pulley bolt from there. So here are my progress pics i got done today after work.

well i had my plenum modified for my pfc iat sensor which is smaller then the oem iat sensor. so I had the original hole tig welded shut and i drilled and tapped it for my power fc IAT sensor. I will be calling my polisher tommorow to have him come pick the greddy plenum picked up and polish it and smooth out the weld on the inside of the plenum, here are the pics of the current progress.

Wow almost there huh? Looks amazing and I love seeing your build as it's so similar to mine it gets me giddy. Looking at this thread from beginning to now I'm amazed at your patience and attention to detail. It's been almost 5 months since my motor blew and I started my current build and it feels like an eternity. I'm lucky there's your build and lots of others to draw knowledge and inspiration from. Keep up the good work.

Hey man I just wanted to ask a question about the surge tank you have because I'm looking at the same one on ebay. Are the threads in the tank 6an also? I want to run an aeromotive 1000 but i dont want a 6an line going to it.

you can change em to what ever you want, i think they can go up to -10an or -12an not 100% sure but im running dual feed bosche 044 in line fuel pumps and it should be good for about 1200hp.

Yea i thought about dual Bosch pumps but I'm looking at 750-800 hp at the most, so I figured an a1000 would do me justice. The only thing that scares me about the dual pumps is one going out and popping the motor.

well dual Bosche 044 pumps are alot more reliable then dual walboro pumps, but thats why I have a wideband and also a in cab fuel psi gauge so if one goes out Ill see it.

Im going to have to take it back off because the two sets of thermo gaskets are causing issues with with my throttle body linkages, so im going to pull one set off and put my tomei metal gaskets between the TB's and Intake plenum tommorow and readjust the TB linkages so I get 100% open throttle.

"HxC_Nismo" this is one hell of a nice build, nice to see someone who is putting alot of time and money into a swap and doing it right. How much is this swap running you all in all. Ive got about $30,000 saved up to throw into my 350z Rb30det project and im looking to "spare no expense" when it comes to the swap, so im just trying to get a nice round figure from you so i some idea on money, even tho our projects are a little different . Keep up the good work :dblthumb:

most people get the vacuum signal from the same source anyway (off the PCV area), so you can just use one map sensor and splice the signal to the PFC. I've got two apex sensors on mine but should really consolidate to one and keep the other sensor as a spare.

Well guys sorry for the late update, but I have been busy lately with losing weight, i had to do something otherwise i was going to be to big to even drive my car or even get sick from being overweight. So i have changed my lifestyle completely around. I have become vegan and i have been going to the gym 5 days a week doing cardio and weight lifting. As you can see in previous post of me with my engine I was weighing in at 340lbs, I now weigh 238lbs and can now comfortably fit in my car now lol. But now that i accomplished my personal goals, I will be starting on my car starting tonight or tommorow, and working on it through out the winter, and trying to get it done by spring of 2012, and have chris black at AMS tune it for me. So Stay Tuned cause there is a beast coming in 2012 and your going to see Godzilla on steroids lol.
