Its actually supposed to be a "USA" arm band, I saw some other people have arm bands on their cars and it was JDM tyte, so i had to join the band wagon.

sorry for the lack of updates, been really busy trying to finish up the swap.

Onward with the pics!!

pass side door losing its shine..

The DAing has begun.

Remember, their used to be no metal their?

The hatch, notice anything missing???

Its looks so much more cleaner.

Drivers side.

Whats this, a CA18DET?

Mounting the 'cooler

The end result of a long day.. Notice the horn mounting?? lol

Other than that the interior wiring was easy, but I'm having trouble figuring out the engine room harness.

The intercooler is mounted I need to make the hole for the cold side piping and get a 2 inch coupler for the turbo to IC piping.

The trans is in and everything under neith the car is done, minus the sensor wiring.

The checklist of stuff left would be to Finish the IC setup, Start the engine room wiring, mount the PS lines and resivior, mount the batt in the trunk and sort out the vac line for the butterfly system. anlong with reinstalling the gas tank and exhuast. Other than that I'm off to OBX for a week leaving saturday to relax and lose my wnter tan

Yea its really nice, I'm lucky, on top of that they remodled the whole school when I was in 9th grade, giving us a whole new shop

yea actually I did steam clean it, guess u can't tell from the pics, if you see what looks like rust near the strut top, it is, or was.

Yea I removed the wiper because it was worthless, lol. I never used it sense I bought the car. I actually think the rear end looks so much more smooth without it. But yea, rear wiper=teh suck.

As of right now I'm keeping the motor together just in case this turbo idea goes wrong. hopefully it won't but you never know. After its running good just hit me up via email. [email protected]

Im going to the schools open house tonight and maybe I'll snap a few pics of the shop for yins.

Great work. Makes me regret not having a 240 to work on back in high school.. All those tools and a lift that I could have made life easier.

ok heres a slight body shop update, the car is scheduled to go into paint next week finally.

The motor is coming along good, today i finished the wiring and put the interior back together. The intercooler is mounted up and the hot side piping is done, but the cold side pipe next to the TB is for an SR. So I'm in need of that pipe for a CA motor.

The checklist for the motor would be to:-Finish the Intercooler (waiting on a new pipe now)

-Mount and install the power steering setup (Lines, resivor, ect)-Install the gas tank pending a broken bolt( the bolt broke on 1 strap)-Install the downpipe and cat back exhaust-Mount the battery in the trunk-Install the BOV-Reinstall the bumper and crash bar-Double check all vacuum lines and wiring-Hook up the oil pressure gauge wiring and boost gauge-Repair a broken brake line(auto body broke it)-Cross fingers and hope for best

Anyways on with some pics.

The drivers side wheel is now done and undercoated.

the whole car is in the process of being DA'ed and sanding imperfections

The pass side fender inside er underneith thing done and undercoated.

Same thing for the drivers side

A shot of the drivers side rear wheel well the front of it, done and undercoated.

The Pass. side rear quarter, notice the dent pulled? And remember the big hole?

Shot of the Pass. side front rear wheel well.

Thats it for now, were having an early let out tomorrow and are off Friday. Both of which are sucky to me, cause i just want to work on my car.

Ill take lots of pics of the painting process and try to put together some before and after thingy. Along with a video of the motors first firing!

man you got like 3 weeks to finish this thing up lol.

Just kidding.. but I'd love to meetcha and see it before I finish the semester and go home.

Do you cruise Scalp Ave ever? It's kinda lame, but I go out once in a while to mock some ricers.

OMG dude I live right off of scalp, this is like the first time i ever knew anyone who actually had a nice car and cruised. Yea im right off the road near dominoes pizza and richland lanes. And if all goes we'll it will be done in 3 weeks. And their are SOO many ricers out this year, its horrible. Imagine a black Hyundai elentra, auto, lowered and an evo style body kit with the 2 HUGE fog lamps in the front and not to mention a 6" tach.I can't wait to drive again. But yea I never really fit in with anyone on scalp, we should deff. cruise together soon.

Hey any chance your going to Carlie? If so we should deff. car pool, im going up for all 3 days leaving on friday.

good to hear from you.

Yeah, I been there seen that.. Even worse in my opinion is the 6cyl 1995 body style Mustang with Z3 fenders, and missmatched bodykit parts, who only knows how to turn on his "angel eyes" and fog lights at night, not his headlights, even while racing up and down scalp. I couldn't resist so I made an *** outa him infront of all his friends at one redlight, IN MY 95 ALTIMA which runs like ****.

Holy Crap KID!!! I Read your whole thread and at the last post I read, Johnstown, PA. Come up to state college!!! we'll have a little 240sx Meet up here.... http://www.pa-nissans.com...

My 240sx is in the garage also. No sick motor like yours, but It's getting a nice clean look.

I don't know about some 240sx owners, my previous owners really messed the 240sx up. Dings, dents, missing window motor tracks.. etc...

If you need any wiring help let me know!!! I work at the Best Buy in state college as a install technician.

Come on up!!! I have pictures of my progress floating around here some where....

I needed alot of welding, in the engine bay, and we did a front body conversion... so that was alot of welding and body work.

But definitely I'll keep an eye on this and we have to meet up some time.

Steve Stark.. ( The 240sx with the Skyline R33 conversion is up here... along with a couple other 240sx's)

alright heres whats new this week. The exhaust is finally fingured out and installed, the power steering is all hooked up finally. Along with me extending the MAF wires. I'm going to fabricate a intercooler pipe up on the side of the battery tray and into the TB leaving the battery in place. Thats this weeks project.

my trusty tool cart and the front end.^

The bumper getting sanded up.

The whole car is ready for paint, but a geo metro snuck in front of us..

Drivers door

Roofs ready too

The once rust hole in the drivers side strut tower

Yea you may of noticed the car was on the factory wheels.. and what am i doing with the old wheels???

Other than that I got my NOCTI tests this week and net week is my state inspection license classes.. Also my 18th bday is this Saturday, so its party time this weekend.

I'll try to snap a few more pictures for yins, this week. Until then later!

mid night update

Well heres what happened tonight.first i went to walmart to get some supplies.. little did I know what lie in wait. why a early 90's Honda Accord 4 dr. Whats this baller 17's and omgosh super low profile tires, not to mention the race gold bumper and body puddy just hanging out. I always see this car but never get a chance to take a picture of it. Just thought I'd let you know how Johnstown roll's

Jdm no side markers

Anyways, todays goal was to scuff up my old wheels to be painted black with a chrome ring, to do this I had to remove the gay silver..

As you can see this had to be done by hand and took a good while..

Sometimes it got very intense lol

here is jill doing her body thing and doing a wheel, while putting on a "special" face for NICO.

Anyways, i ended up using some 80 grit by hand to remove the clear and just "scuff" the wheels up so the paint would stick. Their going back to sitting till the car gets painted.

If anyone else cares I got 4 16x7 wheels for my truck and 4 31" BF Goodrich Long trails!!

Those will be mounted tomorrow, seeing how auto body will be closed for a day.

and finally I actually think I forgot to take some pictures of the finished product. Sorry guys, I guarantee they'll look bomb when painted tho

at first glance I thought that was what came of one of my boys old accords, he just traded one in that had very similar rims his were solid spokes though and silver. Same rediculously low profile tire though. His looked quite a bit better with the home depot front lip, body colored most of the tail lights, and his bumpers matched and hood matched.

Car wasn't that bad, treated him well for about 3 years, it wouldn't pass inspection so he bought a 2005 Maxima SE 6 spd.

Anybody could smoke those Accords though.. My buddy ran a 17.0 in his with i/h/e and he's not a bad driver.

So I found out Friday the car was prime rd , and today it was getting sanded and will be getting 3 coats this afternoon. This means I can't work on my part of the job but its fine with me. These pictures are only with 1 coat of primer from friday, so you will see bare metal.

So far I'm happy to see it one color, as in I mean, to see all the body work covered up. Its really quite awesome just thinking back to when all the holes were their. Its a hundred times better.

That it for now, I'm wishing tat the first coat of paint will be on around friday, but we'll see how the other half likes that. Other than that the motor still has a few vac. lines that need hooked up. I had her cranking and got a few putts ou of her.

wow it really is looking Great... She really should wear a mask in that room pretty much all the time I would think. Primer isn't exactly the safest thing to inhale. Even in dust form.
