Hey everyone

I was wondering what you all thought about putting a hurst T shifter in the coupe. Does anyone think it is possible. I was thinking to give it a taste test, I think it would look hot. I love them shifters.

Ted

Is that for an automatic (slap shift), or would that fit the 6mt?

Hmm i dont think that belongs in an import. It would be original though.

FAIL!

Why would you want a huge handle for your shifter? So you can pull the shifter out of the transmission?

This would also make your wrist work more because your hand would be forced to stay in a horizontal position.

FAIL X 2

Hah... I've tried this shifter for my friend's old Mustang... I could sorta see how some people might like it, but it's definitely not an import thing.

Lets all not get giddy now..it was just an idea to throw around. "First off only an idiot would pull the shifter out of the transmission..just because its a handle doesn't mean you have to pull the crap out of it. Secondly..you don't need your wrist to shift an A/C you can do it with a finger."I understand that it is for oldies but it is a different idea. Why not screw it on..if I don't like it I take it off. What kind of shifters are you all putting in your A/C's.

I have the racingline short shift kit which is awesome, I use the RAZO 360g as my knob

Ther are no Billet Style Short Throw Shifters for the coupe, its a different set-up but racingline came out with an ingenious kit that you install at the ball joint in teh engine bay that shortens the throw by about 1/3, its great. There are knobs out there that are compatable such as ones from latherwerks, Razo and the Abrhams....but I havent seen a T handle..
