HUD display cuts off

Hey i have a 91 coupe with the HUD display and for some reason it randomly goes on and off, but its not just the speedometer its all the dash lights. Does anyone know how to fix this or what it even might be?

I'd say one of the wires is most likely just loose or frayed.Try dismantling your dashboard and checking the major wires going to and from the engine bay.

i had the sam problem wit my first S13 and it was a wire connection that went bad.
