I don't know if anyone is interested, or if anyone feels like tackling this but if you want to squeeze more performance out of your NA HR then here's something that could help:

Despite sharing its displacement with the venerable VQ35DE, Nissan's VQ35HR is so fundamentally different from its predecessor that practically no aftermarket part can be shared between the two motors.

Japanese Nissan specialists Impul have stepped in to restore the balance, however, and have released their new equal-length tubular headers for VQ35HR-equipped Z33s and V36 Skylines.

They're quite pricey at ¥207,900, but Impul are a company with a reputation for performance and rock-solid build quality, so you know you'll be getting your money's worth with these. Head over to Impul to get yours.

Dunno if anyone is interested but I was thinking about looking into this a few months down the line and thought I would share.

i guarantee those are worth every penny, look at the quality on those. everything is absolutely precise.... probably the cleanest, most quality looking headers i've seen for a Z, and as early as they are, i'm impressed.

I agree the craftsmanship is amazing. I tried to find it on their site but to no avail ( I got the info from an RSS feed) I would be interested to see if they offer them in non-chrome.

Impul is def one of the most expensive companies but good god their products are teh sekz.

Good find. But I actually think those headers are polished, not chromed. How much power do you think they produce? Don't the HRs already have equal lenght headers?

IIRC that was from one of the deleted scences where they had all the aftermarket supra parts scattered throughout the ground.

Real talk I'm not even going to lie, I can't wait till the next one comes out.Its better well split now between domestics and ricers.

You're not meant to oogle them becuase they're shiny. +1 more to acting like a puppy dog that pisses himself. You're SUPPOSED to oogle them because they're the first equal length headers for the HR motor on the market and the craftsmanship is AMAZING....oogle the welds not the shiny.

Chances are they're lighter than stock and also flow better than stock, maybe a larger diameter tube. You can't charge 2g's for headers because they're shiny.

Someone will copy them and sell them for $300.

That is if there is any gain over the stock equal length headers.
