Q45 ignitor failure is so rare that trouble shooting is almost never considered. THe usual problem is an untrained mechanic or owner swaping the connections or shorting during testing. The Darlington transistors inside for each coil are very robust.
Make sure the IC inside ecu is providing the proper voltage for ignitor and the IC has not itself failed.
Since all coils are provided a common +12 [just as injectors are] some times a bad connection for a bank will deenergize groups of 4.
