how to replace o2 sensor P0137 ?

I have code p0137 was told by dealer i didnt have it done due to cost i would like to do it my self i was told its the rear 02 sensor looking for some advise on doing it my self what tools am i going to need any info would be great dealer quoted 345 for the job .the car is 2007 versa s hatch with 119k

You'll need the actual sensor, a 22mm or 7/8" oxygen sensor socket (most likely - you may want to ask your service adviser to ask one of the techs to be sure), and some time to replace the O2 sensor. Depending on where you live, it may be difficult to break the sensor loose, in which case you'll want to use some PB Blaster or other penetrating oil to help loosen it.

Sorry for waiting up this old thread. I have P0137 code from my 2007 Versa SL. It is the downstream O2 sensor. I located the sensor and its wiring harness connector. But I cannot got O2 sensor connector off to measure the heater wires resistance.

I know it is simple. But I spent an hour and without luck getting the connector off. Your help will be appreciated.
