Greetings.. Had car about a week Last 2 vehicles were 2000 Ford Lightning, and then an 04 audi S4.. So, my car will only go 130 mph, which is slower than even the lighting pick-up. ( 138) with v-rated tires i thought this would go at least 140.. So, what do i have to do? and how much? There is zero people to ask about this where i live.. (just west of minneapolis) any info is VERY much appreciated!! I adore the car! It is classy, and quick and comfy. but it has to be made to go faster.... regards... Greg...

LOL, I haven't heard that one before. 130 is pretty quick in my book.

What size tires do you have on there? If you fluctuate much from stock size, it can throw off your speedometer, but then again I don't know if it would be off that much. Larger diameter tires make your speedometer read slower than you're actually going.

The VDC is not like overdrive, and even if it were if you weren't in top gear wouldn't you go slower? The more gears the faster you can go, theoretically...

Ok then,, i will try again in Manual mode!! and yes my car is Stock, and i usually run it with the VDC OFF. hmm thousand bucks is alot just to get maybe 10, 12, 14 more MPH,, but hey i'll do it!!!! But fellow G drivers don't get me wrong.. We have some nice straight roads around here that ya can really go on.. and sometimes if thers to much traffic, i have to abort and come back later or another time....

no, thats not how it works. IS ELECTORNICLY LIMITED!!!! The TS of the G-35 is 157MPH. No getting around it no matter what you do to the car or how many 'gears' you have. You have to flash the ECU if you want to get around the TS limiter. sorry dude.
