OK... so I have the timing chain problem, I pulled the front timing cover off and have the pan loose, but can't get it out. What is the fastest way to get this out or is there a way to do it besides raising the engine? Can the suspension part that runs under the pan be removed? Thanks any advice is appreciated.

My truck had this bar already removed and the oil pan off when I bought it and the wheels still stay on...so I think, ya, it can be removed. but I don't know about the other 2 (that are probably the ones you think are in your way).

The only way to remove it is to remove the bar that runs under it.

OK thats what I needed to know, thanks for the info guys. I thought that if I removed that bar I would have to put the truck on jackstands as the suspension wouldn't hold up anymore once removed.... or something to that effect, but I guess from your pic this is perfectly safe? Thanks

You'll just need an alignment drift to get the bolt holes to line up for installation.
