I am not an idiot, promise.

My battery went dead, I jumped it, blew a fusible link when I accidentally touched the jumper cables together. It's the 120Amp link.

So, can't use radio, climate control, some dashboard lights, or get the transmission out of Park. This link is directly linked to all these issues, no?

FIRST AND EASIEST QUESTION: How do I pull the fusible link? It's stuck, and I assume I need a dealer tool to pry it loose? Don't want to damage anything by forcing it.

I need an answer ASAP, if anyone is on the board tonight or tomorrow morning, because this is my only mode of transportation.

Thanks,Matt

Some just unclip and pull straight out. The bigger ones have a screw/nut going through the copper prongs.

thanks for the replies guys. It wouldn't pull off with some good tugging with needle noses, so I'll bet it is screwed in place.

no dealer tool needed you just need to seperate the fuse/relay box from its lower cover. there should be a series of release tabs along its edges . you use a pocket screw driver to release all the tabs then you slide the lower portion down on the harness. This will expose the small bolts holding the fuse link in the box. should be one on either side of the fuselink.
