I am going to install an additonal automatic anti-theft security system to my Versa. But the system would need a 12V supply.

Where and how could I tape the power from (power for audio, fuse box,....)?

I am new to this stuff but I would want to try DIY instead of paid and knowing nothing to my car. It is very grateful if any would could post pic also. Thanks a lot.

It it needs a constant +12v you could tap into the fuse box, I think the dome light is a constant 12v. There is also a constant 12v for the stereo. Or you could run a wire through the firewall through the grommet by the driver foot well to the battery.

And if you aren't sure this is something that should be left to a professional.

Thanks. I think the most easy option would be the constant 12V for stereo. I would also want to try fuse box since it should be the most proper approach. However, I didn't have experience for working on the fuse box.

If someone could post some picture, it would be great help.

Depending on the model and accessories, some fuse locations are empty. In my case, I used one marked in the service manual for "Heated Mirror Relay" for my ham radio install. (Each side of the line is individually fused just below the picture.)

The heated mirror relay is switched on the ignition right? He needs a constant 12v

Maybe I'm reading the diagram wrong, but I do get constant power from that location.
