How to find a Donor/Parts Car R51

Hi All,

I am looking for a Donor pathfinder to pull some upgrades from. I have a 2007 pathfinder 4x4 model S with only 120k on it (my wife bought it as a single lady cause.... she could).

What I would like is:
Leather Seats in good or at least decent shape
the 17 or 18 inch wheels (18 preferred just cause its easier to get tires in that size but not a bid deal either way)
The larger calipers from the V8 model - I have read that the larger calipers rub with the 16 inch wheels I have and the wheels I have are not as wide.

Anything else is just gravy but i am sure there are a few other things that would be nice to swap.

I am putting a lift in this weekend and would like to get the above sorted shortly as well. I live in silicon valley if that helps. Anyone know how to go about finding a parts car?

There is a Pick-n-Pull a couple of miles from me on Mowry Ave, near the bay in Newark. I've been there once but they didn't have what I wanted. Online salvage yards should be easy enough to locate all over the US.

Thanks for information. I have spent quite a few days at the pick n pulls around here back when I had a 73 BMW Bavaria (15 years ago or so). They have a stock search feature and I have seen older pathfinders but none from 2007 or later.

I am not really familiar with the online salvage yards, or not sure what that encompasses. I have seen auto wreckers selling pathfinder parts and they want like 600-700 for each row of leather seats. I haven't looked into wheels or the larger calipers yet, but considering their prices it may be just as cost effective to go new aftermarket. Not sure about the seats though. If I had a parts car I think it would be much more economical and something I can do over time.

besides craigslist, facebook marketplace and autotempest, whats left? are there auctions where you can find a salvage vehicle that may have the stuff i need intact?
