I'm installing HIDs to my dads 99 QX4 but first I need to disable the DRLs. I also have 2 harnesses that plug into the module. Does anyone now which wire has to be cut and spliced?

Digging this thread from the dead, I did this on my 98 Qx4 this weekend, and the walkthrough was very helpful, all except my blue/grn wire was on the smaller of the two harnesses, and my DRL module box was black located near the battery. Lights work great, and no more daytime headlights..thanks Pwnin, nice work on the walkthrough, even though I am a few years too slow..

Great pictures! ! have my battery out with everything properly located. The only problem is that I don't have the same wire set up as you. I do not have the BLUE/GREEN wire. It's a 2000 Xterra. How would I find out what colour of wire needs to be cut/grounded? Any help with this would be great. Thanks!
