HOW TO: Clean Climate Control Sensor

was cleaning up the mess the previous owner left in regards to a remote starter, which never worked right so I unplugged the unit when i bought the vehicle. I ended up cleaning the really dusty paneling under there and putting in a better brighter security led, and wired up the security LED from the remote starter that is on the windshield to the same LED. Ended up finding this very dirty sensor

then just simply remove all the connectors, and the hose just pops off

easy, but easily overlooked

Were you having problems with your climate control or something? Did it make a difference after cleaning it?

just cleaned it, wasnt having any issues nor do i notice a difference but i was there so i figured i might as well clean it

were exactly is the temperature sensor?? after you pull all those panels off

wow, 2 yrs after reading this thread and I still haven't cleaned mine... lol

i dont use the "AUTO" feature of the climate contol anyways.

I dont know where that little grill thing is I dont recall ever seeing it, I guess Ill have to go down and look!!
