I have read this write up 100's of times and would really appreciate to finally put a picture to a paragraph.I check back often if they are ever put back up. I have 2 verts i cant wait to do this to, i dont want to jump in head first (i know somebody had to tho right) and mess the doors up since they are hard to find. Even if you can email me the pictures that would be great. my email is [email protected] Thanks Ryan

OK, I was able to recover the majority of images. There are 6 still missing on post 38 that Greg will fix soon.

Thank You Soo much Audtatious and anyone elese that helped restore the photos :dblthumb: I saved the entire thread and pics to my mac hd. I literally just re-read the ENTIRE thread again. I learned alot from the pics and everyones contributions, thanks everyone. I have a good idea of how im going to do both verts now. I will make a 240sx tech style write up with pics when i do them if anyones interested. When i do it is gonna depend on if i can find red coupe doors local, if not im gonna wait til i get the silvia front end and paint the entire car at once instead of having a multi color vert. Il keep you guys updated :woot:

Would be nice if one of our staff would convert this beast into an article...

Do you have to use coupe door panels, or can you use hatch door panels? I also like s 13 way of doing it, it seems little more comfortable and a little less likely to bind up. But i had a question. How did you fit the rear quarter plastics back on?

S13 door panels for coupe and hatch are identical.

How does the seatbelt feel. Is it easy or is it awkward buckling up?

Its a bit awkward at first but you get used to it. Many convertibles are like this. Mercedes even developed an arm for their convertibles that slides out and hands you the seatbelt.

Are pics down temporarily or is it gone for good? Would appreciate the pics to get me going...

Sorry for bumping an old thread. Found the link with pics here:

Correct - That's the completed article. I need to edit the first post in this thread to direct people to that article (rather than make them read this entire super-long discussion thread)!
