Hello every one. I am new to this site. Glad I found you. Took my 91 Q in for an oil change. Was told the active timing cover is leaking, drive belts cracked, rear main seal leaking, sunroof guides not working, tension rod leaking and air bag light on.I love my car. only has 106. runs well. Most of all it looks good and its paid for. How serious are these problems and how costly?

Timing cover leaking? Hmmm. That's not common.

You need to check your records to see if the timing chain guides were changed. The originals were plastic and prone to cracking and breaking.

For the sunroof try cleaning out the tracks thoroughly.

Change the drive belts for like $30 yourself. LOL

I have to ask. What the hell was an oil change place doing inspecting your car? Did you ask and/or pay for said service? If not then tell them they need to stop f*cking with your car!

And please don't cross post!

This is the correct forum for your question, not the Q45 one, per the rules in the sticky.
