the 85 n/a doesn't have any real desirable parts, just depends on the condition of the rest of the car, is it a builder or a parts car? As a parts car I wouldn't expect more than $2-300, as a builder maybe $4-500

As for the 240, Used su carbs can be had for about $150, $500-800 for tripples, and yes you can swap in fuel injection but unless you plan to turbo it I'd stick to carbs

Junk yard or donate the car, the donation angle gives you a minimum of $500 tax write-off and you have nothing to worry about with the state.

But you know that you can get a re-fub Japanese motor for under a grand installed, if you wanted to keep the car not expensive to get a new engine.

Where you located? Where you live can give me a pretty good idea what condition the car is in. But if the body has no rust, I say you should try to save it. If I went to one of the LKQs in Tampa on a holiday and got the engine block, heads, and internals; that'd run me about $80. If you are pretty savvy with cars you could swap the jy motor in (assuming it's in running condition) for next to nothing and have a running car. My rule of thumb is that a non-running common car is worth at most $500. Any common running car is usually worth at least $500. The jy will probably give you $400 for it, and the donation will give you the $500 as BadQ45t said.

Choose.
