ok so i bought my 98 in the rain. turns out the car has dings all over it and has been repainted in almost every panel. has had driver side quarter panel damage and front end damage. after a couple weeks of having the front bumper started peeling paint real bad. looks like a$$. but my car just got hit a couple weeks ago so if everything works out right ill have a complete new paint job.

Mine - after more than a year, starter quit on me. Other than that, no other problems 40,000+ miles after (and normal rattling etc. etc. stuff that comes with s chassis).

Bought my black S14 base model with 200k miles AT.. original owner. no rust everything bone stock & everything original w/ stock amps & hubcaps for $3,400..... only mods I've done so far are SPL rear sub frame spacers, Silvia K's JDM S14 4 Piston Caliper w/ JDM Spacer & JDM RS 15" Watanabee RS and this year @ 225k miles AT transmission reverse went out, Just completed my MT swap...2 more months b4 my front clip arrives in the container then RB25DET S2!! and so far has 225k miles still running strong, good compression..also it came with the original nissan sale tag with the specs... also when I bought it AC switch had to be held down so I drove to Venus-Auto and bought a JDM analog HVAC unit for $25

My car is mint only 2-3 door dings all original moldings and glass. The drivers side rear quater panel has had some paint work but I do not really care. The interior is clean and all door panels and seams line up. I had to replace the hood bump stomps since they were dry rotted. So now the hood lines up perfect. I also had to replace some bulbs in the cruise control switch, climate control, and replace the power window washer motor. Standard stuff on a 13 year old car. I got lucky a little if you looked at 100 96 zenkis you could not find one as clean as this one. A little work here and there and she will be perfect including a JDM s14 sr20det which will be going in her real soon.

-came with a new skunk 3" stainless cat back.-one front fender needed some love, the other needed to be replaced completely (got lucky at the junkyard found one in same color)-bushings were shot, full ES poly now-shocks/struts shot, replaced with used lowering springs and new kyb gr2's-added rear sway bar-added r32 vlsd and axles-5spd swap-replaced ratty carpet with newer carpet-added used 240sx s14 floormats-5 lug conversion-brakes were shot so q45 upgrade-z32tt wheels and tires-complete gasket kit, resurfaced head w/ new valve seals, new ps boots, new stainless ps line with earls fittings, and other random crap.-new pioneer deck, car actually had some pretty nice pioneer speakers-yanked old crappy alarm and put new one in with stealth install.-b&m shifter-new shifter bezel-new clutch/resurfaced flywheel-s13 cams-new thermostat-other random crap, It's a 12 year old car.

I think I put $2-3k into it since I got it. Puts me right at the $6-7k range total so I'll definitely at least break even if I ever need to sell it. As she sits right now nearly perfect interior and exterior and runs like a champ.

This is my 96' se 160,000 miles when I bought it, everything bone stock. $2000 for a very clean s14. This is my first 240. I've have had it for about two years now and love it, it has 168,00 miles now.So far i've installed hks catback, ebay intake, accel plug wires, altima fans, and kyb agx's.

You guys are extremely lucky that you guys find these cars in good condition for less than $3k....for me when I was in the market for a S14... I seen many S14's including a kouki and didn't like emm....hella [<--- NOR CAL WORD..hehe :-) ] people be charging up the *** for S14's here in the Bay Area and most of them are all modified most of the S14's i've seen....damage to the quarter panels or some weird damage...and some rice rocket crap maybe some dumbass don't know what to do when the car is about to spin out lol......I miss the old days where you could find 240sx S13 for like $500 bucks that was like 8 years ago.....and so far I've owned about 5 S13's and this is my 2nd S14 so yah....

the brakes are absolutely orgasmic and feel 100000X better than stock, IMO. They are a must have if you drive hard. the rotors are the 296x30mm ones (slightly larger than the Z32's)

1998 LE with 123,000 miles. It was bone stock with the original double din cd player and the leather was in awesome condition. 5,900. It is automatic but most LE are so i dont mind it too much.
