How many drive cycles to clear codes?

I changed out the coil packs on my 2000 max that was pulling a code 1320 and my mech told me that after i cleared the codes it would take a certain amount of drive cycles to completely clear the codes. Anyone no how many drive cycles and what is a drive cycle exactly?

Not sure. Some codes and some cars, don't clear. Take it to the local autozone, and have them use an OBD2 scan tool, and you can clear the codes with that.
