i just had my bc coils installed,i wanted to drop it two inches but now I'm thinking its to low..
my measurement was at the bottom of the fender to the center hub on the wheel
it was 16" now I'm at 14"

do you remember what was yours set at when did you coilovers?

also should the rear be little higher?

Having driven it yet, because they didn't finish the rears today.

Thanks

Pics or it didn't happen lol. :poke:

Personally when I've set coilovers on other cars; I used multiple points and tried to get it as level as possible. Check the level before for a baseline, hopefully it's spot on, then use that to set the same level just lower.

If you go super low you need to set the dampening to be less forgiving meaning a harsher ride so you don't rub. Also gotta think about speed bumps and dips in driveways. If it were me I'd go for zero gap but no tuck.

What do you mean the level? do you mean on the camber plates in front? or just level front and rear the same?

ill have the shop adjust with no tuck your right, bumps driveways etc..

I'm talking about the level front to back side to side; the balance level. If the ground is level the car frame should match.

BTW here's a good thread with pics of IMHO the ideal drop. Tunerzstore did a great job.

No... Losen the lower gold perch on the lowest part of the coilover.its a single gold perch.then take the wrenched it came with and use them on the upper perches.making sure the entire coilover spins up.on the front it'd harder.due to the brake lines.
You have to snap brake lines off the coilovers and losen a silver screw.and then follow steps in first paragraph while holding the brake line mount .its pretty easy.takes 30 to 45 mins with proper tools.jack jack stands. I'd post pics but this site makes pic posting to time consuming.watch this video.its the right way

Ya yours is pretty high mines is at 26 &-3/4 , i would like to be at 27" fender to ground.

I kept turning the sleeve but it won't go higher or maybe i just gotta keep going. idk ill try again once i get 5mm spacers in.
Maybe i needed the suspension to settle then do it again ,i guess thats what everyone means you gotta do it more than once.

Btw i have some ICHIBA Wheel Spacers Version II 20mm used for less than a day due to the coilovers.
