how do "I" drift? keep it in a low gear and kick it out when i want to. though some people use the handbrake, i like my way much better, more control to me. theres other ways but its kinda impractical to explain as they pertain to rwd cars.

but thats how i used to, drifting doesnt really enthuse me nowadays.

soo...do you plan on getting a 240?

Drifting in a front wheel drive car is like having a one night stand with a fat chick. Its not cool and nobody will admit to doing it, but most have at least tried.

Ok, I'll be nice. Obviously you've noticed that people think you're kind of a joke, and honestly you do kind of give off that vibe. You cannot drift in a front wheel drive car. At least not a sustained drift. And second, this is probably not the best forum for you. Yes there is a lot of knowledge floating around, but it's 99% rear wheel drive or other nissan stuff. If you end up getting a 240sx you'll find this website very useful, until then, find a civic forum.

Also, as entertaining as fast and furious movies can be, please do not confuse them with reality and drive like them on the street. It's stupid and dangerous. You're going to end up hurting yourself or worse, someone else. If you're going to race the civic, there are several things you can do with it. You can do auto cross, you can do SCCA and NASA club racing. Of course all of these things you have to pay to play.

And one final point. Being that you are 16, I would really focus on just learning to drive your car. If you get in trouble now, you could get your license taken away until you're 21, and we all know that you don't want that to happen. Find some track days, get into some autoX and forget about drifting, at least until you get a rear wheel drive car.
